Registered Nurse | Eckerd Youth Alternatives | Exeter, RI
Eckerd Youth Alternatives, Inc., a leader in alternative treatment
programs for at-risk youth, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to
join our dedicated team in beautiful Exeter, RI.
At Eckerd Youth Alternatives we serve youth and families at-risk, and we
treat each child in a comprehensive and caring manner. As a Registered
Nurse, you will review client records noting health care needs, document
health care progress, administer necessary medications, provide health
education, and refer children for care when required treatment is beyond
the scope of nursing. You'll also build relationships with the youth,
and know that you're performing a vital role in enhancing their lives.
You will also serve as a member of the leadership team, assisting in
alignment of the program with leadership goals.
Valid state Registered Nurse license and RN diploma or degree is
required. 2 years of nursing experience (preferably with
children/adolescents) preferred. The ideal candidate should have an
understanding of psychiatry, pediatric medicine, and psychotropic
medication. Must be a strong team player.
